Chapter 9 – Luminitia and Dale Get Serious!
Two more years passed by swiftly; Dale’s and Luminitia’s relationship blossomed further. Luminitia telephones Dale before she goes to work!
“Dale picks up the phone and answers it, “Hello?”
“Dale, you know we have been seeing each other now for almost four years. I think its time for us to go house hunting!”
“Oh, Lumi Baby… I would love nothing more and tomorrow is the day you are going to get your first tattoo done!”
“Yes Honey, and I want you to watch it getting Inked onto my skin, too!”
“Lumi, did they let you have the day off, as I booked a day off just for it!”
“Aww, Dale, I love you so much. Yes, Stuart, let me have the day off too. He can be strict sometimes, but fair!”
“Speaking of work, I need to go and get ready!”
“Yes, it does take you ages to do all your glamour and makeup, Lumi. It still baffles me why you have to look so attractive for work!”
“Shush, you… you know I have to be the centre of attention, as always!”
“Okay, Lumi… you better go and get to it then. So talk to you later. Bye!” Said Dale as he hangs up the phone.

Book 1 – Chapter 24 – The Catacombs of The Dead
“Sana, what’s wrong… I saw you shiver just now?” Asked Isai.
“The cryptic text reads. If you want to stay alive, you better turn and run!” replied Sana to Isai.
“Screw that text… we are not running from nothing!” Said Rheill.
“Yes, Rheill is right, we have a job to do and thats to restore the balance to the firestaff!” Added Karna to the conversation.
The party then sees two more sets of text engraved into the walls; one on the left wall and one on the right. The party explores the left-handed corridor off of the junction. All of the adventurers notice it leads to a locked wooden door with the keyhole carved flawlessly into the wall on the right of it.
“I guess we investigate the other direction. Even though we have the Iron key, we should check what is down the other way. Also, the area looks open without any doors, which could lead to an ambush if we open this up!” Explained Karna, forcing people to pay attention to her surroundings.
“Well, let me read the writing on the wall now. The text on the wall near the locked door reads I hate Cowards!”
“What does the other say?” Asked Isai.
“I don’t like to be ignored! I guess that means ignoring the turn back, but Karna and Rheill are correct. We cannot turn back now!” Said Sana.
“Well, let’s Ignore whoever wrote this as I am going right!” Declared, Karna firmly.

Book 1 – Chapter 23 – The Riddle Room!
“Hmm… The Riddle Room, huh!” Said Sana, getting a little bit cocky.
“Right down your alley, Sana… but, we are here to help you solve these Riddles as well!” Replied Karna.
Karna then smiles at Sana; before leading the way into the Squared-room. It was fairly-large; at least a five by five in both width and length. Directly in front of the party, was a metal-portcullis with no mechanism, or a way of opening it. Situated in all four of the corners appeared four oblong-shaped alcoves; each of them had cryptic text next to them, which only Sana was able to read.
Next, they head over to the north-westernmost corner and Sana begins to read the text out loud, “I am all, I am None!”
Isai adds to the conversation after Sana had finished reading the text, “I think we need to place the items, which we have found on the floor above in each of the alcoves found in this room. It will open the portcullis for us to proceed further, into this level!”
“Isai… I think you are correct here, but what could the item be?” Asked Sana in reply.
“Wait! I know the answer to this… it’s a reflection, and we have the mirror of dawn from the vortex puzzle!” Said, Karna excitedly.
‘Why does Karna seem to be so excited about solving something I did not know straight away. That is so childish!’ Thought, Sana to herself.
Next, Karna places the Mirror of Dawn into the alcove, after taking it out of her backpack.
Suddenly, the same clicking sound echoed within the chamber, which usually opens a secret dungeon wall or triggered a pit-trap to activate; It forces Karna, to draw her weapon.
“That sound… it could just mean that we have placed the correct item in the alcove!” Said, Karna.
“Great job, Baby!” Said Rheill to Karna quietly praising her smart intellect prowess, one of the qualities that made him fall in love with her.
“Shall we just go around the room clockwise… as it looks to contain four riddles for us to solve and is probably needed to open the door, which Isai presented to us earlier!” Asked Karna.
“Yes, Karna that makes total sense, since we started in this corner!” Replied Rheill.
