Chapter 11 – Luminitia Feels Lonely!

One long year had passed for Luminitia. She kept her promise to Dale and found closure, and also, she kept E-mailing him every day as her best friend. ‘I must speak to Hayley about something important today!’ Luminitia thought to herself, while she dries her body with a fluffy pink towel, after having her morning shower.
Next, Luminitia put on her black business suit with a white blouse for work, so she looked smart and sophisticated. It was around February, so it could get cold in the account’s office. She grabs her car keys and sets off to work. Stuart had given her a company car ahead of time since he had already announced Luminitia’s succession to Financial Controller/Dealership Accountant. She got an astonishing red Ford Puma as her company car. She asked for a two-seat car as she is yet to have any kids, let alone a new boyfriend.
‘I love this car, but people really resent me in the office right now. Jealously hurts I guess. I worked too hard to give up this position, and they did not even want the job. So honestly, what is their problem?’ She thought as she drove to work.

Book 2 – Chapter 10 – Sulphuric Acid!

Praise to the heavens the mechanism, which Karna had triggered appeared in front of the band of adventurers. Another devastating toxic rain cloud shot from left two circular holes that got etched into the left-handed raven-coloured dungeon wall. Karna had her shield of Lyte held high covering her frame. Karna’s wits and anticipation had not only saved her life, but the well being of her friends.
She still considers Isai a friend, even though she has a harder time trusting him after forgiving him. Karna allows her precious heart to understand why he did what he did and to move past it. If it had cost her Rheill, then it would be another story.
“Karna! Please be extremely careful, Honey!” Stressed Rheill.
“Yes, Nobody move please I think because you saved us with the shield bubble. All the traps will activate in front of us to kill any person trying to steal the Diamond Edge. The Sword seems to be one of the arms of light too as it started glowing when I picked it up. Of course, this is my theory, so remain in the dead-end or directly behind me!” Explained Karna in a stern tone.

Book 2 – Chapter 9 – The Diamond Edge!

Karna steps out into the junction, and she notices that the dungeon takes a left turn when she looks towards the east. However, when the protector faced the west, she saw the passage go to the west; but, only a few paces before it turned right. Karna decides to go the right and check that corridor first; she hand-gestures for the party to follow her.
The four champions then traverse around the next turning, and they see it goes left again meeting back at the stone stairs.
“What the hell!” Shouted a frustrated Karna as she clenches her fist in anger.
“KARNA, chill out this is a puzzle, look there is some writing on the wall, it reads, ‘Clockwise!’ I think we need to go the other way around!” Replied Sana in her infinite wisdom.
“Sana could be right we did walk anti-clockwise!” Answered Rheill as he butts into the conversation.
Isai remains silent, and then he decides to add his own input to the conversation, “Why, don’t we start from where it says, ‘Clockwise’ and do what it says?”
“Well… we cannot go anywhere else!” Said Karna as she raises her white glowing shield, which she still thinks looks fantastic.
Sana casts her advanced light spell to refresh it’s duration, as Karna starts leading the party clockwise. Shortly after, the adventurers go all the way around the squared corridor, which went round a large block of solid grey rock. Little did they all know, but they activated a hidden trigger. Even though the dungeon looked the same. The party happened to no longer be standing in the same area.

Book 2 – Chapter 8 – Sana’s Courage!

“SANA PLEASE FORGIVE ME!” Yelled Karna in despair.
“KARNA FOCUS, SUGARPUFF. It could go for them. We need to intercept and find its weakness!” screamed Rheill as he enters a controlled barbarian rage.
Next, Isai rushes to her aid, and he quickly drags her out of the way as far as his strength could muster.

The Legend of the Firestaff

Book 2 – Chapter 7 – An Un-guardable Attack!

“Rheill, I think I saved you from causing us major trouble!” Exclaimed Karna vehemently.
“Why is that?” Rheill replied with curiosity.
“Well, That button probably releases these creatures, there appears an unseen force field blocking the monsters!” Added Sana.
Karna smiles, “See, listen to Sana, Rheill. Cough!” Chuckled Karna.
